Hello, and I have a question

Hello all my name is Bryant, I play woodsball own an A-5 and plan on going to DDay 08! My question is, I am really looking to buy an upgrade before D-day. The choices I have narrowed it down to are the Lapco Apex Ready Bigshot or the full Techt Cyclone upgrade kit. I already have a response trigger, apex barrel, and tapco solid stock on my gun. I use 68/4500 psi pure energy tank btw. Thanks in advance!

Re: Hello, and I have a question

personally id go with the TECH T can shoot paint if there choppin in the cyclone anyways doesnt matter what barrel u get, the TECH T ups are the best ups for an a5 by far, and since you already have the apex barrel you still get the use of your apex

not really. the hardest one is the vortex, but that isn't even hard. people may be talking about how hard it is to get the pins in, you have to tap them with a hammer (don't forget to put the spring on the rod like i did!).

Only if you're braindead. The 'hardest part' is cutting the spring, which is really easy.

Re: Hello, and I have a question

Upgrade your cyclone.
Don't worry about installation, you can do it. To make it more easy to install I slightly file off grooves on the pin which connects cylinder piston/rod and ratchet. This way it hammers in more easily ( btw haven't had any problems with pin coming out)

Re: Hello, and I have a question

upgrade your cyclone with non-techt parts and you'll have enough money left over to get the barrel as well. And i can tell you since i have it, that barrel rocks!

Re: Hello, and I have a question

In my opinion you should get the Squishy Paddles and Vortex mod first. After you have them all that you really need would be a nice barrel considering you have a consistent air source, so I'd say Paddles+Vortex, then barrel. I personally have the J&J Edge Kit which I hear is amazing but I am going to test out this weekend.
