| Anyone milled an A5 to feduce weight? Anybody had their A5 milled to reduce it's weight? I know some guys have milled their 98s where the vertical adapter tube goes (exposing the tube). I can't imagine it reduces the weight by too much, but anything is better than nothing. I was just wondering if anybody has done something similar to an A5. How about it? |

| Re: Anyone milled an A5 to feduce weight? You can remove the front "lip" of the A5, no problem. The rear sight can be filed down. I think you can follow the channel from the name plate and extend it long the entire length of the receiver. That's all I can think of. I wonder if it's possible to make carbon-fibre receiver halves...
