Anyone milled an A5 to feduce weight?

Anybody had their A5 milled to reduce it's weight? I know some guys have milled their 98s where the vertical adapter tube goes (exposing the tube). I can't imagine it reduces the weight by too much, but anything is better than nothing. I was just wondering if anybody has done something similar to an A5. How about it?

Ask AirH0g. He'd be able to tell you if you can mill excess material from your gun, and where the best place would be to do it.

Or you could send it to him and get back a masterpiece.

You can remove the front "lip" of the A5, no problem.

The rear sight can be filed down.

I think you can follow the channel from the name plate and extend it long the entire length of the receiver.

That's all I can think of.

I wonder if it's possible to make carbon-fibre receiver halves...
