Expansion chambers????

first off, wtf is an expansion chamber??
what does it do for a A-5?
does it need to be coupled with any other mods????

I'm also looking into it. They basically improve Co2 use with the gun. Co2 is a liquid and it needs to expand into air before shooting the ball and because there isn't a lot of room you can get inconsistent shots. The expansion chamber gives the Co2 that extra room needed to you get more consistent shots.

An expansion chamber gives CO2 room to "expand" once it's exited the tank. This helps your gun to prevent it from "freezing" if you're firing rapidly. If you have a remote coiled line, they sort of act like an expansion chamber. If you run HPA you don't need to worry about it at all because HPA doesn't need to expand because it's already a gas.

An Expansion Chamber isn't the most useful of accessories. If you run CO2 and are looking for consistency I would suggest a regulator like a Palmer's Stabilizer.

yes an expansion chamber is a chamber that allows liquid co2 to exand into a gas form more consistently.

If you open one up it's a tube with 3 O-rings and a channel spiraling up the side of the tube before hitting a hole that runs to the inside of the tube, out the top & into your tombstone

I agree here. A regulator will actively regulate the pressure of the gas, be it CO2 or HPA. They'll be more expensive, but FAR more effective.

I know Palmer is good but I'm Canadian and the cost of shipping over the border is down-right retarded...
