Looks like we got some parts up on his site today that will make QEV and RT users happy! I had ordered the "RT QEV bare bones kit" from palmer with the 1/8" ID tube. Too bad the tube is way too big for the stock air T and the RT flow control valve. Also, Palmer didn’t have parts to upgrade said stock pieces on his web site. So after about 45 minutes of talking with Mr. Palmer, we got all of the upgrades listed on his web site (you will notice most of these parts were added today)! So now, A5 users can order directly off his web site if they need the tube and/or fittings to run 1/8 ID pieces. This means better flow for the RT and better response from the RT! Anyway, the part numbers are as follows:

TIPPA516 - Flow Control valve for the RT. This is the part which you use to adjust the RT's flow (BPS rate). It will screw directly into the receiver with the stock hardware.

PNEU017 - this is the "T" fitting which will replace the stock fitting. This is where the air/C02 splits and goes to both the RT and the cyclone/QEV

HOSE0193/16C - 1/8" ID tube. Comes in 1 foot sections, which is more then enough to do an A5 up from RT to QEV.

TIPPA513 - the Bare Bones RT QEV kit. Comes with the 1/16 and 1/8" options. Get the 1/8" option if you buy the above mentioned parts.

All of these parts combined are what you need to make a Palmer's "Super RT/QEV" kit (my name, not his). Palmer will later offer this as a whole kit, but for now you need to do it piece mail. My total order (minus the RT QEV kit. I already own that) came out to be $32.00 including shipping.

This will greatly increase your cyclone’s efficiency and speed and will allow for a much wider "sweet spot" with the RT. I hope this helps some of you. I know it helps me.

Does that upgrade include the QEV that can be put on the cyclone or do you have to order that seperately? I currently have an RT and the LPK on my gun, which obviously means I need the 1/8" lines.

Yes, if you order EVERYTHING I posted above, then you will have ALL you need to upgrade your cyclone and RT to 1/8" ID tube. It does include the QEV for the cyclone as well. Part # TIPPA513 is the RT QEV kit. Make sure to get the 1/8" option.

I orderd the parts as specified by MisterMister and I had a problem, the PNEU017 "T" fitting has an inner diameter of 1/16 (outside diameter fits the hoses but the inside is twice as small compared to the 1/8 of the barbs on the other fittings) and since if any one part in the link is 1/16 that will be the limeting factor and make the efforts to change to 1/8 moot. I called Palmers thinking I may have gotten the wrong part even though the invoice had it listed properly and it does say 1/8 ID...WRONG! anyway, I spoke with a very nice lady named Lorri and she looked at the part in question and sure enough, the part does say 1/8 ID but in fact is 1/16, The OUTER diameter is the same as the 1/8. (this of course does us no good!) She is mailing me a new fitting that along with two 1/8 barbs will serve as a "T" with the proper size but she warned me that it is a little bigger than the other "T" The cost is 4.00 more. I will be letting you know the part # as soon as I recieve it. MisterMister, and anyone else who has ordered these parts from Palmers, please check the "T" (PNEU017) and look at the ID as compared to the ID of the other barbs and if you find as I did that they are different sizes give Lorri a call and swap the parts out, she was very nice.

OK, If you want to have all the parts be 1/8" instead of the PNEU017 as I wrote in my last post was the wrong inner diameter (ID) instead you need (2) PNEUO17N (these are 1/8" barbs) and (1) universal tee. This makes ALL the ID's the same (1/8") hope that helps.

I just want to get this straight in my head before I start calling people and making an idiot of myself...

In order to do this mod I need:

TIPPA516 - Flow Control valve
HOSE0193/16C - 1/8" ID tube 1 foot
TIPPA513 - the Bare Bones RT QEV kit
PNEU017N - 1/8" barbs (2) of these
And a Universal Tee? Do you remember the part number of that Tee Wedpics?

There is not a part number, on my invoice it just said universal T where the part number is. and to answer your question, yes if you get these parts you will be in good shape.
