Cleric and I have been talking and i believe that you could put a flatline in the shroud it has enough height to fit it(though it would be tight), but it would also take some modding because the screws that hold the two shroud pieces together stick in quiet a bit stopping it from fitting, these could probably just be ground down, but no guarantees.


The top rail attaches using the rear push pin, and the front sight screw, the lower part of the shroud, holds onto the top using 4 screws, and the front sight screw. It hides about 6 inches worth of barrel.

why is it a waste of money if a desired look is acheived? maybe all the mods I've done to 3 a5's werent worth it as well. I say his a5 looks great. If I didnt do an sir mod to my current a5 I would have bought it as well.

agreed... not only does it look pretty sweet on it's own but it looks liek with the right skill & imagination one could pull off a pretty decent SG 552 Commando mod.

that's what I was thinking... my folding AK stock may be good but I might shave down the bottom lip of a g36 stock.

Outstanding! If I still had my A5 I would be all over that kit. Personally I think it looks better than the X7 416 kit. My only suggestions would be to cut off the lower tab on the front of the A5, slap on a magpul or 416 style stock, and maybe some 416 iron sights.

Ya, I would like to have a more proper looking stock but i already had the folding one and i don't have the money to buy a whole other stock.


I'm probably going to modify my existing A5 front site to work, don't feel like spening money on something i already have half of.
