its not even close to being done, thats only the top half. i have to get an 1/8 NPT female to 1/8 NPT male extension so the input can reach the 90 degree fitting and then customize a plastic insert to space the two halves apart. Then find screws that will be long enough to hold it together, then find longer screws to the lapco bolts that hold it on...like the title says..."the beggining"

i just started on it today, so far i have only worked on that half and it didnt take much to remove the plastic that gets in the way and drill a hole for the guage. but like my post above said i have a long way to go....i will be taking pictures along the way and hopefully have a write up done by the end of the month....i just had a baby girl a few weeks ago and dont have much time to work on it.

Very nice! This is exactly what I wanted to do, unfortunately I went for the inline stab instead because I didn't think it'll fit.

So are you saying you have to make the mag thicker in order for the stab to fit?

yes, i took out much of the plastic inside and i will make a ~1/4 - 3/8 inch plastic insert that will widen it further.

update; i have everything almost done. I'm just waiting on a part from palmers and then i'll start the write up. Wasn't very hard and was fairly cheap to do.
