Man I love the MP5N... but after coming to the realization that they're never gonna make a decent MP5N mod w/o having to customize the crap out of X7 parts or get some seriously custom work done that I can't afford.

I have taken a sudden liking to the 551 Commando (maybe 552, I'm not super familiar with it but Google produces the same pic for both searches)

After playing around with the opsgear A-5 builder i think I've created a reasonable facsimile... what you guys think?

OPSGEAR: I figure I have the bi-pod deploying foregrip so it can pull double duty. plus I may be able to replace a carbine buttstock with one of the balckhawxx stocks if I feel so inclined.

I also decided to go the ACOG sight even though I already have a red dot... just for something different

just a suggestion, that does look really close, but for the stock, if you went with the A-5 solid sight relief stock and just carved out the stock, it would be closer than that goofy and really badly positioned / constructed g-36 folding stock, unless that is what you like, but if you went with the sight relief stock, the way the acog is setup with the raised base mount, the drop in the stock is enough to let you comfortably use the sight without having to spend the extra money on a riser mount, thats just what I would do and I think would work out better for what you are looking to do.

The issue your having is dealing with only OPSGEAR stuff, if you do a few searches on google, or even on a5og you would be able to find a stock and magazine/well your looking for, the shroud is probley as close and your gonna get and the foregrip, well its just a foregrip, i think the stock looks like one of those new m4 ones with one of those saddles for it to store tools and such..

well I went with the 416 shroud b/c the G36C shroud is longer and I don't like that rail (don't know if it's removable or not). I should be getting a UMP shroud from a trade soon but I don't know if it'll be long enough for this project & it's no longer on the opsgear A5 builder.

I went with the G36 mag b/c it has a similar "see-through" look, plus it's a bit forward to fill up that open gap & I could still slap a regulator on it w/o hacking the mag to pieces.

The G36 stock b/c I want a folding stock otherwise I'd have gone with the Carbine stock with BLACKHAWK KNOXX butt piece:

I also "only went with opsgear stuff" because I was just slapping together something really quick before I sacked out for the night & Opsgear has the A5 builder...

stock looks like a mp5k pdw stock with a cheek rest IMO

either that or a hollowed out solid... hard to tell.
