Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Yes, all of the Milsig stocks will fit the A-5. It's mentioned right on the web page. But the one posted by AirHog is an airsoft version which is much cheaper (50% of the price of a Milsig stock). I doubt that version will attach to the A-5 without some modification.

Re: Milsig Magpul M93B Stock?

Yes this stock is very solid, comes with the metal buffer tube and support brackets. It goes in like any normal plastic car stock tube, but you'd want to loosen the brackets first. The stock slides very smoothly on the buffer tube.

You said it's for your HK417 project - do you have a picture of a HK417 with this type of stock? just curious..

Your basing your answer on a photo What i'm saying is that they buy the actual stocks, then make the adapters, put the two together and VIOLA you get your picture Now i'm not "100% completely positive" But it makes better business sense than re-inventing the wheel.

Anyway my whole point is that they are both (The one i showed and milsig) made overseas and regardless who makes it it's the same thing. I was just giving a cheaper option if you have the ability to make your own adapter. Not knocking milsig, like i said just options.

Re: Milsig Magpul M93B Stock?

FYI, Airhog is exactly correct. Welcome to 21st century business Paintball companies are still too grass roots to be able to aford the proto and testing for something like this so typically everything is outsourced to find a happy medium with a durable setup.

Any doubts just click Airhogs sig

Re: Milsig Magpul M93B Stock?

The airsoft version has a standard M4 buffer tube type connection, the Milsig ones have a special tube / adapter to make it ft their markers / A5's.

If you want it to fit right away, you need to get the Milsig one.

So are you saying that any of the M4 stocks (or the RAP4 metal buffer tube) for the A-5 will work with the airsoft version of this stock without modification?

Re: Milsig Magpul M93B Stock?

No, because paintball companies (for whatever reason) make their buffer tubes different diameters. I have M4 stocks from Opsgear, Specops, Trinity, Rap4, etc. and they are all slightly different. Some stocks like Magpul will not fit unless they are modified or you find the right buffer tube to fit.

Also, for the real steel / airsoft world: stocks come in military size and civilian size. Civvy is slightly bigger (again, for whatever reason I don't know why).

IMO, if you want this to work on your A5, just buy the Milsig one.
