| Re: Tippmann GTA Vertical Regulator... Hm. Tippmann is known for a lot of things, regulators, however, do not number among their claims to fame. Go with a PPS Stabilizer or - if you'll only ever run HPA - an AKA Sidewinder.

| Re: Tippmann GTA Vertical Regulator... Thanks VVulf for the insight. Another question for you as you've mentioned the AKA Sidewinder, I've done countless searches on this particular Regulator and have only seen ones that go up to 500 psi max. I'm running a HP setup and was told I needed at least 700 psi to operate my A5 properly. Or could I run it at 500 psi and use a harder spring to compensate for the lower pressure? |

| Re: Tippmann GTA Vertical Regulator... It is rare that an A-5 will run at such low pressures without a low pressure kit. And by rare, I mean, don't count on it. I was pretty sure you could get a HP output spring kit for the Sidewinder. However, my memory on that might be wrong. Check with AKA.

| Re: Tippmann GTA Vertical Regulator... Correction: The Sidewinder does not have an HP-output spring kit. It does not need one - it goes to 800. ![]() Here's the manual with the specs. It's the 2-Liter that has spring kits.

| Re: Tippmann GTA Vertical Regulator... WOW!! Thank you so much VVulfe, this is exactly what I was looking for. Been looking at AKA products(even their website) but I couldn't find the correct info. I guess this concludes my search for a HP regulator. AKA Sidewinder it is! |

Just be sure you never run CO2 through it, unless you're double regulating your system with a PPS reg before the Sidewinder. ![]()
