I imagine its only a slight diffrence.

On mine, I have the stock A5 grip and an AK handguard. Depending on what I need to do, I can alternate back and forth. But holding it properly as if it were a real AK is very comfortable. You'd be surprised how many wanna grab the AK with their thumb wrapped on the part that covers the gas tube. Its a big no-no cuz it will heat up on top.

As for the factory grip. I like it as far out as I can get it. The factory grip has been good to me and during the operation of my A5 I can easily block out that it's a lil small.

As for a Sig Sauer P250 .45 ACP pistol I fired... No it needs a longer grip. My pinky was hanging off the bottom of the grip completely as I put a whole box of .45 ACP down range. Other than that, the pistol was very nice.

Driller: I'm an Ambidextrous shooter. I can tell ya the cyclone doesn't bother me at all.

BTW nice F-15 avatar. Is it an A, C or E?

I just finished a custom foregrip that sits perfectly, right there, half way between the body and barrel. I never liked the position of the stock foregrip or the fact that I had to have my hand vertical. Makes it a pain in the butt for crawling around so I sculpted and cast a new one. (which I'll post on soon.) ~Frosty.

can we see a pic?

Pic now showing in my sig. Also much better shots on my blog.

I'll be posting a bit of a "making of" soon also. I'd like to also post into the B/S/T manufacturers forum but I don't quite qualify to post there yet! (I've only got around 25 posts...need 50) I don't want to hijack this thread so let's try to stay on topic.

I'm happy to debate the nuances of foregrip position though!

Re: Where do you like your foregrip?

i like my fore grip on the rails on my barrel up a bit from the loaction of the stock front grip, i really dig the folding one but forget where I got it on line from some where, just ordered an front grip on ebay goes on rails and has a removable slot for a pressure pad, and the bottom opens to hold stuff, like i guess tools and stuff, i think it will be good , just not too into the stock front grip feels too up tight and close for me, I am a lefty too but can still use the stock foregrip.

Re: Where do you like your foregrip?

No foregrip for me. I prefer everything nice and tight so I use the braided line from the tombstone as my foregrip. It's covered in electrical conduit, so I have enough to hold on to.
