get a reg its the best thing anyone can do to increase acurracy. barrel and paint to bore mach vary so a good barrel kit or great paint can help but a reg will asure consistant vilocity. so many people get power tubes or cosmetic upgrades but tippmann knows what their doing. they'er going to put the best peaces in the marker to do the job right. now get a reg. and your ready to rock and roll.

I really want a regulator, but for the price... I opted for e-grip and barrel first, followed by HPA tank. I'll get the regulator one day but at the time, its just not cost-efficient for the play time.

where can I buy a palmer kit?

I'm gonna have to go with a regulator as a first practical upgrade... I'm sure it's been said already but it's gonna help your marker be more consistent in your shots and that will be a better foundation to justify your internals or fancy barrels.

would a reg. work with a coil??

sure... they have regs that go on the top of your CO2 tank that your coil attaches to.

basically as fas as I know that as long as you have a threaded input for a braided line or what not you can unscrew it & replace it with a nipple that you can use as a quick disconnect.

Or you can just hook up the regulator to your ASA & use the remote plug.

I've done this with all my A5 expansion chambers however I've never used a regulator myself...

you are correct arkham, that is known as an "inline" reg. There are others as well, some that screw into the tombstone, etc. I prefer inline's, as they're more convenient, and if you're running a low pressure gun, you can turn the pressure down right off the bottle to a remote, which acts as a giant volumizer for the low pressure air, eliminating starvation and shootdown.
