...to get some new parts installed! The woman was good enough to get me a few things I have had my eye on for a little while. I am more then capable of doing the installs, but this way I have someone to blame if something goes wrong, and I'm lazy. Plus its only 15 dollars in labor and that includes a free lube, new o-rings, a chronoing and inspection.
Anyway, I left the air smith with my A-5, an APE Rampage board/power-shot solenoid, E-grip frame, JCS duel trigger, Tech-T Lightning Rod, & Palmer QEV (with 1/8" tube/fittings for HPA use).
This will be added to my already expensive collection of other mods which include a Palmer brass barrel, Tech-T Vortex, Dead-On Paintball power-tube/front bolt, trinity drive spring(s), M4 style adjustable stock, 3 point sling, and Dye Throttle 70/45 HPA tank.
When all is said and done, I will be running this through a remote coil with slide check which is mounted on my Spec-Ops Dagger vest.
I will be posting results as soon as I get the marker back & gas the sucker up. I can’t wait to see how fast I can push a stable BPS rate. I’m hoping to be able to hit ~15BPS walking the trigger on semi-auto with a 20BPS rate for "full auto" and "rampage" modes. Anything faster would be ridiculous and a waste of paint IMO, but I will be sure to see just how fast I can pus it without making soup!
Heh, this is sort of a worthless post, but I am excited about the new toys. Pics will also be soon to come.
If all goes well, this should be "the" set up for me. I don’t foresee needing to buy any other aftermarket parts, other then an X-7 hopper (and perhaps a new air-through dog-leg stock). I should now have replaced anything which will wear/break in the near future and have allotted for headroom in the BPS, accuracy, and consistency departments. After the above mentioned mods anything else I do will be mainly cosmetic in nature.
BTW, the APE e-grip is replacing a GTA RT system.
