| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 Welcome to the forum! CNC gunsmithing has the M16/AR15 upper and lower receivers in 3D solidworks as a free download. I don't know the quality of the work but it might be something to start with. Heres the Link: cncgunsmithing.com downloads |

| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 I wouldn't pay the extra money to get a M4 body kit for the A-5, but that's because I'm not a fan of milsim. However, I can see the appeal to some players. And as far as classifying paintball as speedballers and milsim, well, I play in the woods but don't enjoy milsim much so yeah... Sorry, just had to get that out. -Marmaduke

| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 Id say you are either woods- or speed-ballers (or both). Milsim is simply a style of weapon/gear, not how/wehere you play IMO.

| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 Quote:
I agree. Milsim is a look. Milsimmers are more likely to play reality based scenarios and go for "the look"; helmet, period uniforms, etc. I have seen speed ballers play woodsball. They're fun, its like glow in the dark, very easy to see and shoot! But, if you need some whacko to rush the front line or bunker, their your guy.

| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 you could make a mold from the origonal a5 body, then take away stuff and add stuff as you wish with a drill press and some filler... Then you could take the messurements of the final product and enter then into cnc. This way you would have identicle halves... or you could make the mold, mod the mold, then use the mold to cast it, like tippmann does... but i believe thats really expensive |

| Re: CNC'd A5/M4 Well if the cost of everything (research, design, testing, final production, A5 parts and receiver), ends up to be what I think it will, you might as well buy one of these http://www.reapercustompaintball.com/guns.htm |
