Re: CNC'd A5/M4

I think price is central to the discussion here. If it is reasonable, I predict a steady flow of orders relative to the life cycle of the A-5.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

Awesome, so many people have been waiting for something like this. I agree, the price would be a big issue, but I also believe that if a high quality product like this were to become available to the average player than it would sell very well.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

Personally, I wouldn't. However, I do think it would be cool. I find the M4 a bit overdone and thus I went with a G36 kit for mine. Now if one could do a G36 reciever, I would be all over it!

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

I remember a while ago (original forum) there was a post about fitting an AGD mini-Mag into an AR-15 receiver. I know we'd all love to see an A-5 fitted into it, but the Mini-Mag may be an easier squeeze...

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

I am not a big fan of M4 A5 conversions, so no, I would not be interested. However, I will admit that those are some nice CNC jobs done there. They look clean and robust.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

if it is a reasonable price range and good quality i would defenetly throw down, like people say the spacing on current a5's with conversion kits is real weird.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

^The spacing is very noticeable. Not only do the lower parts often look off, sometimes the upper parts and rails look funny.

The new trend in MIL-SIM paintball is really bugging me. It is not okay to take an A5, slap on a MP5 stock, an M4 sightrail, and a AK47 foregrip and shroud assembly, and call it an AK47. Or putting a AK47 magazine on a G36 conversion. That is what bugs me about the X7... but that is a topic for a different thread.

I would definitely recommend this mod for anyone I know that wanted to go down the M4 A5 path.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

Maybe, but it all relies on the price.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

Two things.
No visible arilines, w/an air through M4 stock.
Working M4 charging handle.

Both could be accomplished.

Re: CNC'd A5/M4

"MY FIRST POST"

Any way, i would definatly buy it, i've been looking for the m4 look for a long time but got the opsgear g36 mod instead because most m4 mods look stupid on the a5, if this were to be under 300 dollars i would definatly buy it, if you shiped to canada that is...
