| Noob question regarding APE e-grip and CO2 usage I just ordered the egrip APE-preinstalled package drop in solution from tippmann pros. I do not have an expansion chamber and i do not use compressed air. will i see problems with freezes or whatever just using regular co2 with the e-grip? also, i'm not modifying the cyclone yet either because i cannot afford it. is this APE egrip going to cause problems with the stock cyclone system? should I keep it around 15bps or less so i don't get a milkshake in my cyclone? thanks in advance! |

| Re: Noob question regarding APE e-grip and CO2 usage If you set your ROF too high, you may see some freezing. Being that it is summer time, the warmer weather may help prevent that a little. I would say the max you should set you ROF is around 15bps until you get either an expanshion chamber or a stablizer. I would recommend from my research getting the Palmers Stabilzer, from what I've read up on, it does a much better job then an expansion chamber.

| Re: Noob question regarding APE e-grip and CO2 usage Also, keep an eye on your Cyclone ratchet. That is one piece that can and will wear much faster with an e-grip or R/T. If your Cyclone stops working, take it apart and check the ratchet for wear. If it is chipped or cracked even just a little bit, replace it. Unfortunately the ratchet is prone to breaking, so your best bet here is to get a TechT Vortex or JCS Jet Click to replace it permanently.
