Metadyne Industries New A5 Folding Stock

Metadyne Industries had added some long awaited new items to their growing catalog. Among these are a new folding version of their existing "Skeleton Stock." Like everything Metadyne sells the quality is among the highest of all. I can guarantee that if Metadyne make it, it's going to be extremely high quality and made of machined aluminum or alloy. There are no cheap plastic add-ons coming from Metadyne.

The stock arrived in a sealed plastic bag and included the necessary o-ring as well. It took only moments to add to my evolving Sterling and added much to the marker. The stock folds by pressing a small metal button on the left side of the stock. It is a two-handed operation and it then folds flat against the right side of the marker. It is held in place by a small detent. There is a machined notch to clear the forward assist that is part of the cyclone on the A5.

The fit is nothing less than perfect and it is a hefty, well-made stock that gives the marker a "real feel" that you will find very good. it balances out the weight distribution of the marker very well.

Trust me on this.. you can hammer nails with this stock! It's that strong. When latched in the folded out position, it's as sturdy as a dixed stock. There is no wobble at all. I don't use the Tippmann push pins anymore because they break. I've upgraded to socket head screws and can tighten accordingly. Again, no wobble at all.

You can find the stock on Metadyne's web page here: http://www.metadyneindustries.com/ca...roducts_id=130

This item is not cheap, it's rather pricey but in line with other accessories of this quality. This is not plastic, but assault rifle quality machined, anodized metal.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great, high quality folding stock for their A5.

The Tri-Rail Block on the bottom is also new from Metadyne and I will give more inrformation in it in a later post.

Notice the machined notch for the forward assist

Completed gun turned out well I think:

Re: Metadyne Industries New A5 Folding Stock

Very impressive. Curse Metadyne for making me want to part with my rent money early!
