The new opsgear HK416 kit makes it look better because it's longer, but then again the UMP doesn't look like a SIR handgaurd, I've actually tried to do this in the past, now I'm almost giving up, I'm choosing between a couple of things, but you should send "reccomendations" for products like this to big companies, if you could, I'm not sure if you can, but you probably could

I'll second the Mk. 17 (SCAR-H) in the CQB configuration as opposed to the standard or long barrel configurations.

Am I the only person that dislikes the scars gigantic receiver size and overall heft?

I do not like the real steel SCAR. but it is a cool mod.

im already half way through building my A5 SCAR. I used the UMP shroud from OPSGEAR, a commando style buttstock, and a lapco magazine. so far it is looking really good. I want to add a suppressor, a foregrip, and a ACOG scope to finish it off. it looks good enough to me.

I am currently thinking about making a MK16 Scar mod out of a airsoft version of the butt stock and the OPS Gear UMP Shroud(since it's really long and looks nothing like the H&K UMP.)

Can anyone tell me where I could some how get my hands on either just the butt stock or a cheap airsoft version?
