This is my first ebolt, period. So to say that I know the max cap on the ram would be a lie. Pretty much the only thing holding it back would be the ram. I could ahve upgraded the board for higher rates of fire. Im going to ahve to say 20 bps reliably. I never cap my egrip over 20 bps anyways since I have issues with the cyclone 22+. The ram is a NN(natural newbie) style ram. NN shortened the stroke length, rear cap length, and the lighter hammer. So it should be quite capable. It was also running on dual QEV's on both sides which should make it even faster.

Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

its not about how it looks, it was about how it functioned. And boy did it feel good firing that thing. For those who have fired an ebolt know that feeling of the ebolt cycling. For those who havent...it doesnt feel like a regular blowback, it just feels awesome.

Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

Yea i guess if it fires great and everything...
but isn't it like taking an AK and swapping out the simplistic low tech internals and filling it up with a bunch of m4 parts?
Don't get me wrong I love the idea of you takin your A5 to the next level, mad props, but it wasn't me who said that people who waste all their time and money on a 'low end marker' like the a5 should just get a better gun... or something like that.

Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

I really had no intentions with playing with it. It was just a summer project I took on because i saw some people did it and wanted to try it. Infact, a week after I finished it, it was already sold.
