Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

To much work for me. I'd rather just through in a ape board.

I agree that this isn't the sort of project that could be recommend to just anyone. If you're not inclined to really work on your marker beyond throwing in an upgrade or 2 then it's not the sort of thing you'd enjoy. If you like going beyond that, much like SilentDeath12886 is, then the amount of money spent on parts and upgrades is really inconsequential because it's the modding that's both the challenge and the reward. I've dumped a small fortune into making my 'low end' markers operate way beyond their standard levels, sometimes outstripping my friend's 'high end' markers along the way, and I've never thought that it was a waste of time, effort or money. I prefer doing things this way instead of buying an expensive marker that I'll be bored with.

Yep. T'was sold to me no less (with many thanks ). I'm just starting to work on it now and I might even try to do some cosmetic changes along the way too (funds permitting ).

Very well put Vagabond. Hope you get it done soon so I can see it assembled again! I already miss it. But yes this project wasnt really a performance upgrade. It was just for the fun of modding. Which is why I didn't keep it. It was just something to keep me busy since I went through a period of wanting to mod to do something different. By no means was this mod an upgrade. I wanted it to turn heads and be like "Yea this is an A5...and yea that is an ego frame". I didn't want a marker that looked like everyone elses. Its a complete custom 1 of 1 gun. There are a couple of other ebolted a5's out there, but all of them utilized the same stock grip frame. Again Vagabond, get it assembled, take pictures and videos!!

Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

Awesome project...This should be something you make in bulk or offer to mod for people..could probably make a nice chunk of change doing it!

Re: E-bolted A5 nearing its completion

I could, but I didn't do all the work myself though. I had the ram milled for me to my specifications. The person who did it for me is currently taking a break from doing mods. To retrofit the ego frame to the A5 is also very time consuming. I considered doing the X7 egrip and making a couple, but the demand wasnt as high as I had anticipated so I only made the one for myself, which later I sold as well.

Do you mean a double trigger? I actually no longer have the X7 egrip for the A5.
