| Re: Sling advice You shouldn't have any trouble using a sling even with the tank on the gun. You could use a one point sling attached to the ring on the back of the A-5. Personally, I much prefer a 3 point sling. I use a PCS 3 point sling, nice and wide (better weight distribution) and has metal hooks (many of the cheaper ones use plastic). Picked it up for about $25. Definitely makes those long scenario games much easier (especially with my 6 lb A-5).

| Re: Sling advice I have the retractable stock on my a5 with the ring for a sling, but I used a 1 point sling, and made my own 2 point just by routing it properly. It shortened it up, and put it right where I want it to hang. Worked out better than I thought it would! Military Paintball: WarSensor 1 Point Sling, Paintball Slings

You can adjust it to hang where you want. I have mine adjusted so it hangs diagonally across my chest with the but of the stock just below my right arm pit, and the muzzle down by the left side of my waist. Out of the way, but can be brought into firing position quickly and easily.

| Re: Sling advice I initially started out with a single point sling on my old vest, then I wound up switching to a 3 point system, which I eventually dumped in favor of an upgraded to a quick release single point that I am currently using and much prefer. My main issues with the 3-point was typically when I went into prone position, the straps would snag on my mask, lifting it up and away. Also it would not allow me to fire ambidextrously unless I unslung the weapon, which wasn't always practical or timely. I'm no stranger to setting up 3-point slings either (I've been running them for years now), but I also realize they were never designed around paintball. For paintball, I greatly prefer the single point. But instead of attaching it to the front of my vest where it would "drag" down the front of it (tried that once, it's uncomfortable), I ran a long strap through the MOLLE attachements on the shoulder, over the top of the vest and attached to the back, just under where my shoulder blade resides. This balances the weight of my weapon much better as its weight is distributed across more area. Tactical Tailor makes such a rig too, but it's easy enough to design and equip your own, and certainly cheaper too.
