JCS A5 rear Velocity Adjuster

I just started using the new JCS A5 rear velocity adjuster for my A5. I like the look. Does any one use this and how do you like it. I'm using 68-4500 with a remote and still have random shots around 268,291,288,301, etc.

Re: JCS A5 rear Velocity Adjuster

68/4500 would indicate its hpa

did you have random velocity spikes and drops before installing the rva?

Re: JCS A5 rear Velocity Adjuster

oops didnt realize i right read over it. So you got your large discrepancies while using co2 or hpa? using spring kit? regulator? if so what kind?

EDIT: The jcs RVA isnt the cure to 2+fps either. its to help with it a little better. what kind of powertube are you using? I ahve intentions of sealing my FVA on my jcs red powertube to make a poorman's jcs goldmember tube to keep the flow of air freeflowing. the screw can mess with the air flow.

Re: JCS A5 rear Velocity Adjuster

I have the stock power tube, it has a nice tight fit, I have an upgrade tube but the fit was lose and had low fps around 230-240 so I but back in the stock plastic one.

Re: JCS A5 rear Velocity Adjuster

HPA is better but not perfect because the regulastors on hpa arent always the best. An on gun rgulat will make a world of different bringing to around +5fps-ish. when i was using co2 i get around 240-300fps. did you take your time in between shots?

EDIT: have you polished internals? that will help increase fps a bit and also make it a wee bit more consistant. back out your FVA so thge screw does not obstruct gas flow and try the chrono again.
