The back piece still consists of plastic which is the main concern. once the dremel touches the plastic is begins to melt and infact will melt to a point that the wheel gets covered in melted plastic that it wont cut.

I've done it before... Just clean it every once in a while. Anywho, it's a great job. Way better than I could do.

None what so ever. Once the brackets are made and put onto the frame, its just a matter of drilling holes and presto your done. The trigger plates are very similar to the a5's. the sear is different though as well as the design of the trigger. but in the trigger well of the receivers, it lines up PERFERCTLY...the sear is in the same exact spot wheni was test fitting it...the safety switch is also not in the way either. It was as if tippmann knew we were going to mod it to fit the A5.

Re: Select-fire A5 with pictures!

What if you use a dremel to cut it down but leave some extra space. Then sand down the parts by hand with the melted plastic to smoothen it. That should work shouldn't it?

Re: Select-fire A5 with pictures!

After my last experience with a tippmann plastic frame and a dremel, id rather not risk having the same results of a trashed grip frame. I will try to pick up a hack saw somewhere.

Yeah, a dremel is pretty bad on plastic.
