Re: The a5 SAW

Wooow. Someone stole you AK-A5?

Man that really sucks. I hate to hear it.

As far as the SAW goes, I think they look great. I cant wait to get the opertunity to see one up close. Might be a little heavy. But you are use to running a milsim marker, so it shouldnt bother you any. Post us some pictures up if/when you get your next A5 and get it kitted up!

Re: The a5 SAW

I think you posted this in the wrong section. They look great IMO and are bigger and heavier than an AK mod but it's what you like that counts.

Re: The a5 SAW

sorry bout your marker being stolen. the saw, is a pretty heavy setup, but if you can handle the extra weight, they look great.

Re: The a5 SAW

I have a SAW and it looks great. It is heavy but not excessively so. I recommend a front grip of some sort since I found that gripping the underside of the shroud can be uncomfortable (especially with the ammo box on it).

Re: The a5 SAW

Here is a pic of my gun.( sorry for crappy quality, used my cell)

But as you can see, the Spec Ops stock is pretty cool. and now since they have the new airthrough setup its easier than ever. When I installed mine it required me having to cut a small hole in my A5 Frame.

Re: The a5 SAW

I also have a SAW and it is HEAVY, if all you do is go out every sunday for a few hours its fine, but if you do any serious scenario games, your gonna get a cramp luggin that thing around, and forget the 400 round hopper, unless your hitting the gym,
After one game ( 8 hours) I couldnt straighten out my arm for 2 days, but on a brighter note, it looks KILLER, too bad its weight matches its looks.
