Re: My A-5 Setup

I'd say good job w/ the performance based mods so far.

The valididty of red dots are debatable - some like, some don't. You'll have to try it to see. I'd say though that the use of one w/ the Flatline might be sketchy considering how the ball travels. You could also look into a T2W stock from S.O. but they are obviously quite a bit more than the T stock. For me, I'll never go air-on-gun again - I love having that weight on my back where I barely notice it.

Re: My A-5 Setup

I can understand your excitement at getting new upgrades - but in future, I suggest you edit your posts rather than double/triple posting.

Now then, that is one very nice setup you have there. Might I recommend HPA as an advisable upgrade?

As for the question of red dots, if properly zeroed and of good quality, they are an excellent tool. Be sure to get one with lens caps, so that a hit to the front is not so disastrous.

Re: My A-5 Setup

In the question of red dots, its just personal preference.
Personally i own one, and i love it, only because i'm used to firearms, and i hate shooting without looking into a sight, and with a stock and mask, you can't look through the A5 sights, so i bought a red dot... works very well and replaces the sights.
One big advantage is that if you look through the red dot with two eyes open, you'll have a nice 180° view (no tunnel view) and still have a dot on the target. that permits very quick locks on...

And actually for 20 dollars, you can get really nice model out of ebay, so i think its worth the try ( plus it scares the hell out of newbs...)
