Hi. I've been lurking here for a while now and decided to start posting. Here is my A5-P90 mod. Wasn't sure how you guys would respond to an airsoft mod, but here goes.



I completed this mod with minimal disassembly to the A5. I removed the iron sight, expansion chamber, fore grip, trigger gaurd and trigger. The thought here was that if I had a problem with the mod I could revert to the stock A5 between games at the field. I'm happy to report that I have completed a 2-day scenario and it came through like a champ.

The components are an A5 with stock insternals, Taso 10" ported barrel with muzzel brake, 50mm Barsca Red Dot sight, laser sight, egrip with OEM board, Well P90-D Airsoft AEG, and a custom-made quick-release sling (similar to the style used on SG-1). I run CO2 and a remote.

Since those photos I've replaced the barrel with my 14" TrueFlight QB barrel. This barrel has linear rifling, is ported, and has a muzzle brake. Surprizingly quiet and pretty accurate.

In the works (in order of preference):
• 45 degree stove pipe (working on it now)
• mock silencer (for the 14" barrel, also working on it)
• Vortex (for durability)
• QEV
• AKA Reg+ (I think it should fit inside the shell)
• APE Rampage board

I love P90's! So upset that they cost a couple of grand for the civilian models.

I can't wait for my B5 to ship.

Thnx idontknow89. I bought my A5 for the purpose of turning it into a P90. I was so disappointed to see that it wasn't available as a milsim mod or kit.

Kill, I considered the B5 but couldn't fork over the cash for that kit. Although, half-way through this mod I was almost ready to chuck it out and take out a loan for a B5!

Yeah dude any mod is accepted here, maybe not the favourite of all members but everyone loves to see the possibilities for the A-5.

yeah, very nice. I'm picking up that b5 kit as well (eventually....gotta stash some cash first). i think a lot of people overlook the compact design of that particular mod. for me it was either going to be an mp5 sd mod or the b5.
