My A5 Project #1 taking shape....

Here's my first A5OG project A5.... the story so far....





It's not complete, but I wanted to ask your opinion on it so far.

Firstly let me apologize for the 'not so crisp' picture. (I will update it as soon as I get the proper camera working lol)

Now I won't go into too many details of this piece just yet, but the main bit you will see is the Shroud... now thats a custom piece I ordered from FL^ and what a job he did It's a UMS Flatline with custom shroud that extends by 2.5 inches and is ported and lined out to resemble a flash muzzle. This gives an overall length for the flatline of 14"

There is also a UMS Striker Rail with side mount that hangs over the name plate and is spaced to allow use of the Metadyne Sliding stock.

It also has a LPK (which is not set up correctly as I am awaiting a right side rail for the Striker Rail to mount my Female Palmer's Stabilizer for it and....
the biggest thing still to be fitted is a custom Mag/Magwell (G3 Mag) that will fit not only in the right place, but also allows fitment of the volumizer of the LPK.

List of bits and bobs on/in my A5....

Okay, here we go.


Striker rail with standard right side rail (not shown in pics) Left side rail on lowered spaced mount to allow use of a Metadyne Sliding Stock.

UMS flatline with custom UMS shroud that extends by 2.5" with porting and dividing line to give the impression its a separate flash muzzle (I've nicknamed it the DLX shroud after my screename lol) The Shroud also comes with a normal full length bottom rail and a 6" rail on both sides.

On the left side of the flatline is a G&P multipurpose 20mm mount that houses the Milspec tactical Green Laser dot sight.


The laser sights remote switch is held in the forward grip which I got from my brothers Tiberius T9.



X7 Hopper

Metadyne Sliding Stock.

WAS E-Grip (double trigger to be installed)

Aluminium Blade Double Trigger (to be installed)


LPK and internals with Palmer's Pursuit Female Stabalizer placed on the right side rail of the Striker Rail (not installed in pics)

TechT Vortex Mod (Lightning Rod and QEPH to be installed)

Side Velocity Adjuster


JCS Red power tube

ACOG Replica 1x32 - soon to be replaced with one of these 4x32 ACOG replica and will come with a working replica Doctor red dot sight on top...




The only other external mod that I want to add at this time that will be a UMS custom MAG/Magwell that will house the volumiser of the LPK and will look like one of these with a G3 mag.



Well that's pretty much it at the moment, but you never know

I think it looks really sharp! I have been thinking about getting a 98/A5 flatline from FL^ and like what he did with yours. I also have been checking into some of the Metadyne stuff as well.

This Christmas I'll be starting to finally mod my A5, and its mainly for performance, but I'm trying to find ways to keep the looks cool as well. Yours did a great job with that.
