The INTRODUCTION: Spiritus Raptor

I have recently become one of the founding members of The Spiritus Raptor (the "Thieves of Souls/Robbers of Life" - Latin derived). We are a group of experienced woodsballers, ranging from 19-30, some with actual combat time in various branches of the service. Our arsenal consists of a-5's, 98's, SP-8's, tac-1's, and a couple others. Our trademark logo, the Fire-eyed Death Dealer, is our calling card.

Pictured below, our standard uniform including our logo. The marker is my newly finished, complete custom. You can buy all the parts commercially, (but 65% wouldn't fit together on their own). There are NUMEROUS custom parts/fitments to this marker, and I'm proud to say it's 100% metal (minus the bolt and grip/trigger etc.). I hope you all enjoy, this is a culmination of 3+ months of customization and detail work.

Fantastic. Did you paint the body of your A5? It looks like it's gotta green tint to it in the photos. Maybe it's just me.

Also... Rap4 Stock, Metadyne Trirail, Flatline shroud, and Mag. Thats all I can really identify. Wheres the dovetail-to-weaver rail from, your riser, and scope also? And those body pins! I love them. Are they sturdy and hold up well to 'combat'? Thanks brotha.

Nope, no paint. I actually was able to wear down the stock coating slow enough to get a "worn gun blue" effect, which is only present on areas where your hand would contact the marker in the cocking motion. The rail top is an ak47 top, and a trinity ar-15 2 way riser. The body pins are 1/4" hitch pins with a ball bearing detent. They work absolutely awesome, but i had to mod a lot- had to cut a 1/4" on the detent end and round the edges, and i had to cut almost a 1/2" on the outside face end and drill the hole to allow the pull rings. The hardest part was gettin an 1/8" drill bit to bite in perfectly centered on the pins... lucky for me it worked! They are stainless pins, so i lightly lubed them with anti-sieze, and i haven't had a problem at all! They actually function too! I can remove the pins by pulling and rotating back and forth- this being said, i have zero stock or grip wiggle. Hope that helps SK8 Also- the acc. grip is an authentic kalashnikov accessory grip, gotta love picatinny rails; the dishka- I LOOOVVVEE THIS THING, I cut the back end down a 1/4" so it fits completely flush against the flatline shroud, retapped a screw thread, and used a larger phillips head bolt; and the scope is a tasco pro-point green/red dot. Oh, and the spec ops metal cocking rod would not fit with my ak top, and had to be notched back to accomodate the rail.
