I've had an SP8 for a while and an A5. Downrange, the difference in sound is even more noticable. I'm going to have to dissagree strongly with the post earlier about LPK sound vs SP1/SP8. I've tried the LPK too and while it does quiet the A5 down a bit, it was still no where near as quiet as my SP8 or SP1. My SP1 is a tad louder than my SP8, but it's comparable. In order of preference I like to shoot

A5
SP1

The SP1 shoots real well and I prefer the low force bolt over the eye setup, but I just wish Smart Parts read my emails way back when and worked on the one thing that I despise about my SP8 - the hopper setup. Vert feed is not the answer! And they could have spent a small amount of extra energy and released a milsim marker instead of an Ion with weaver rails (ie MP7). A bit of effort over that and they could have easily released a marker with a modular core like the X7, but I guess that starts to target a different market...
