NEW Edge Elite kit

Hey guys. Just thought i'd post some pics of my A5A2 with my different length J&J Edge Elite kit barrels.

10" barrel

12" barrel (dodgy mobile phone pics I know)

16" (the Intimidator)

. . . and the whole team

They're different to the other Edge Elite barrels i've seen. The ones i'm referring to where sort of tapered towards the tip. These ones are basically straight and without taper towards the tip. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the deal with this is?

Anyway, let me know what you think. I think they look pretty mean.

Re: NEW Edge Elite kit

I know what you're talking about but i cant think why, maybe a new model, or a old model? Which do you think is the best a HH kit, J&J edge elite, or freak kit?

Re: NEW Edge Elite kit

Personally, I haven't used either of the HH or Freak kits. But from what I've heard other people say, the Freak kit is more fragile than either the HH or the J&J kits. They're aparrently susceptible to dents/scratches etc so I wouldn't buy the Freak kit because i'm sure it'd get banged up because of the way I play. The HH kit is supposed to be pretty good. There are lots of people who swear by them and wont use anything else. It's ok for those who have the cash to throw around I suppose, but again I haven't used it so I couldn't say for sure. Now, the J&J kit is without a doubt the best value for money if you're looking to buy a kit. 5 backs, 3 fronts (barrel lengths of your choice) and a nice carrying case. The J&J kit performs exceptionally well, and the dust black colour fits in perfectly with the rest of the marker. Sturdy construction, and the ability to shoot through breaks makes it as close to perfect as a barrel kit can be IMO.

No bells, no whistles, just pure (J&J) performance.

. . . and it looks mean too.

Re: NEW Edge Elite kit

The new fronts will work with their Apex adapter, the old style would not. My buddy just bought their Apex adapter and as a result had to get one of the new barrel fronts.

***off thread reply*** if your at all worried about damaging the Freak inserts, just pay the extra $20 and get the stainless steel set.

That was one thing I was wondering about actually.

I have a BT Apex AK47 barrel and was thinking about investing in the adapter. Have you seen how it performs with the Apex on the front? Either way it would have to be better than the BT barrel.

Re: NEW Edge Elite kit

I bought mine through eBay for $105 for the full kit. Great value.

Here's a link to the same seller I used. Highly recommended
