Use a hair dryer set on high heat and warm the nameplate up. It is held on with glue and if you warm it up, it comes off very easily. Take your time with it and you can pull it off in perfect shape. I am glad you are looking at his option rather than painting over it. I see so many nice looking markers ghettoed up because the owners used a Sharpie marker or spray paint to cover up the nameplate rather than the time to do it right. Funny part is, it probably takes less time to do it the right way.
Oh, and nice markers. I like both.
Edited: I forgot to ask.. Which sling clip did you use on the MP5? I see that it is Uncle Mikes, but cant make out how you have it mounted.
