What barrel is that on your A-5? Looks like an extended thunderpig... I don't think they make those over 12" though...

Wow. I didn't think they made them bigger than 16"... Goes to show what I know...

How is the thunderpig? People that get them w/their Spec. Ops. Daggers seem to love 'em.

it's pretty basic. shoots straight, but isn't remotely okay with broken paint.

The barrel on my A5 is made by CMI also the maker of the Warpig. My 98 is sporting the CMI 21" riled super sniper A.K.A. the WarPig. The A5 has the CMI Tru-Flight 16" rifled barrle. I am running the E-Grip with a WAS board. I have yet to break a ball in this barrel and I've been using it about 2 years. On top of that it has never been picky for paint. I have fires year old paint with dimples and not goten a break out of it. I even used that super cheap stuff called Blue Streak that Walmart carried a few years ago/ The year old paint I used. It shot great just did not mark very well. All in all I am extrememly satisfied with the quality and accuracy of the CMI barrels. As for length and wasting gas I realy dont care. A rifle by any means with a short barrel looks stupid. But thats just my opinion. It looks great with the gun, So I use it. BTW as of the next game I play it will have a remote camera shooting video mounted on top of it
