Re: My A-5, Project Battle Axe

Awesome set up. How many bps are you shooting at? I noticed you've got the Palmers QEV on there....I ended up taking mine off but not due to chopping. I'm shooting with a E-Grip(stock board) and the ROF isn't set very high...the QEV for some reason was causing the marker to not cycle properly. It was firing fine and then it'd freeze. For some reason it wasn't recocking properly and I'd have to recock it to continue firing. Once I removed the QEV, everything went back to normal. I guess I installed it just incase I decided to up my ROF.

Well, I will admit that it took quite a bit of tinkering to get it all working properly. I did play one game with it, only on semi auto though, but I fried the TechT Lightening Rod due to a defective bearing. As soon as I get the L rod back, and my tank filled I will take some video of it shooting some redicious ropes. Even though I don't have the L rod right now I was easily shooting ropes at 20, but I was being conservative because I didn't have the L rod and I really didn't want to re-clean it, if I broke paint.

I LOVE THEM!!! The instructions with the Howitzer say to sand the stock power tube smooth, but with it combined with the JCS Red Hot all my internals glide like a dream. Plus, this is probably one of the loudest A-5's you have ever heard so it's great at getting the noobs to run and everyone else to keep their head down. (I'm a Heavy/Suppression Gunner if you couldn't tell from that)

Hi nice marker well done! Perhaps you can help me I have a red power tube and a Howitzer, but I find the Howitzer fitting over the tube was very loose as I think the red power tube is more thin then the stock tube. Did you find this? If so does it affect the markers performance?

Re: My A-5, Project Battle Axe

I'm not a fan of the special ops A-2 stuff.. but everything else is simply fantastic. Great work and def a heavy Gunner Mod.
