| Re: Sarge's A5 vs SP-8 - The reason he owns both. Nice video.  I knew the A5 was louder than than Smart Parts but wow, what a difference! The A5 made a ringing noise, almost like it had a Flatline on it. Room acoustics maybe? That kinda puts the whole A5 sniper thing in the trash...

| Re: Sarge's A5 vs SP-8 - The reason he owns both. As long as you have greased you ratchet, not oiled it, it should hold up for awhile. Most use lithium based grease. I was thinking about getting the R/T but that 3 round burst on the E-Grip is pretty cool. With my brass/APEX, I can reach out and make people duck, if not get them out.

| Re: Sarge's A5 vs SP-8 - The reason he owns both. For those that don't know, the A-5 sounds entirely different with a LPK. With the right barrel, an electro sounds like a silenced pistol. That was a great video. Maybe I'll see if I can get my hands on some sound measuring equipment and compare the decibel rating of the various markers we use around here.

| Re: Sarge's A5 vs SP-8 - The reason he owns both. Well, to get my hands on the equipment I'd have to scam a little, but I would get to borrow very accurate and well calibrated equipment. I can tell you that my A-5 is definitely quieter than a stock SP1, but louder than a Vibe with a 16" J&J. It just goes to show how much of a difference the barrel makes.
