Well, after several months of getting owned by 14 yr olds with rich parents while playing speedball with my Phantom I've decided to move back to woodsball and I picked up my first A5. I got her today used from a local fellow on SpecOps. I was wondering if there is anything that I should be looking for that may lead to problems. She is stock from what I understand except for some TechT upgrades in the cyclone.

I plan on doing a full stripdown of her tonight so any help would be appreciated. It's good to be back to a Tippmann after nearly 8 years. My last one was a beautiful .68 Carbine. So the A5 should do nicely.

Good news is that you've got the TechT cyclone mods.

A different barrel will help (search)

Yeah I was planning to go to HPA, and it did come with a JandJ barrel which I plan to use on a Krinkov build. It's been awhile since I played with a blowback so it should all come back to me kind of like riding a bike. By the way thats a beautiful paintjob!!

yeah i have like 20 more a-5s and x-7s, but i sold all of them before i was a member on here so i never took pics! i used spray paint but there are other that use duracoat but that way more expensive to the 40 bucks i charge for anything! i do as many colors as you want just about any camo pattern, and i matte clear coat it and oven bake all the metal parts!
