Palmers Male Stab problems

I recently bought a Palmer's Male Stabilizer, and received it from him today, but I can't install it. I took the tombstone off and tightened the stabilizer on so that it was snug, and the dial on the side conflicts with the tombstone pin. Also, because of this, i cant put the trigger back on with it like this, since the dial is in the way.
I'm thinking the reason for this is that all the tombstone adapters have different ways that they are threaded. But how do i fix this?
Pictures here:

My second problem is, and i think i know how to fix it, is that the ASA is turned to a side and i don't have the tools to fix it, so it won't attach to the trigger. I know i only need to tighten or loosen the 90* fitting so that it spins the adapter the right way.
For the sake of making you guys completely get it, i have more pics

I have it re assembled with just my old Expansion chamber until i figure out how to fix these issues, but

PLEASE RESPOND I NEED HELP

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

Try loosing it up so the gauge is toward the side of the gun the o-ring on the reg should still seal even with the reg a little loose.

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

Teflon tape it.... It won't screw in as far and the gauge will be in a diff place...

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

All you have to do it remove the tombstone by pushing that latch back, thread the stabilizer in all the way, then stick the whole thing back in.

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

Just turn the stabilizer "backward" a touch until the gauge is lined up the way you want it. No need for teflon tape or mis-alignment. The stabilizer will still seal well. If you want to confirm this, the same thing is said on the PPS website.

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

And then for the ASA, just spin it one way or the other so it connects, right? I just need to get some wrenches. My dad recently moved out and took all the tools. If any1 would want to sell some to me, or generously donate some to me, pm me. I need just a basic multiple size wrench set, or just the ones that you need to be used for the a5

Edit: and i forgot to say, thank you guys for the advice. this makes things a whole lot easier, and makes it so much easier of a fix than i thought it would be. I love this site for this reason.

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

you can also just lay an oring flat in the opening and screw the stab in on top of it. this will still let the stab feel like its snug even without air. or like others have said its ok for it to be a quarter turn or so loose. it will seal tight when air is in it.

to millslane, i know, i did that. That why i posted this. because i didn't know where else to go. that was one of the first things i did.

And magic, a quarter of a turn is all it needs. would an o-ring for a Co2 tank fit do you think? cuz thats all i have.

toss it in there and give it a try. if it still doesnt line up the way you would like just go with leaving it loose.

Re: Palmers Male Stab problems

I think you could also drill out a washer to fit.
