| Valve stuck I'm taking my A5 apart to clean it, but I somehow managed to get valve stuck. The rear bolt moves, but it won't come out either. I read something about tightening the velocity screw so it doesn't catch on the receiver, which I did, but that seemed to have gotten it stuck. Do I have to take the receiver apart, or is there an easier way? I have all the pushpins (and trigger/stock) off, but none of the screws. |

| Re: Valve stuck The easiest way would be to take the gun apart, which IMO is the best way to clean the gun anyways. This way you don't have to fiddle with the FVA too much the next time you rechrono your marker, not that this but of info will help much right now Don't be afraid when taking your A5 apart since it's fairly straightforward and everyone here is willing to help you get it back together. Oh and there's also a helpful diagram in this thread that will show you how your marker works. Remember, "Washer first, then o-ring, the tombstone holds them in place," it might come in handy when you're taking your gun apart.

| Re: Valve stuck I personally have never dissasembeled my marker without taking the 1/2s apart. I would take the screws out and pull the two apart, its much simpler then pulling everything out the back (or it sounds like it due to problems with the power tube).

That's the main reason why I disassemble my marker completely whenever I clean it since there are always little hidden things that will throw everything off . Granted the paint had nothing to do with your problem, but it might have cause shooting issues so it's a good thing you got it!
