Too few shots! After having upgraded from a C98 to an A5, I noticed that my marker never seems to get enough shots from a 20oz Co2 tank. I understand that the A5 is supposed to use a little more air, but I literally went from getting half a case of paint or more, to barely more than a hopper full of paint, before my R/T stops working. Ive been going to different shops for fills, and now I am certain I'm getting a full tank (I make them fill and purge the tank to freeze it, even). Yet, I'm still getting very few shots. There are no leaks. My A5 has: A stock Valve, Cyclone, and Hammer. A Palmer's QEV Response Trigger (still using stock 1/16" lines) A Palmer's Stabilizer, High Pressure kit Keep in mind, my 98 had a R/T as well, the only difference with its gas system was that I used a X-Core 8 stage expansion chamber, rather than a Palmer. After firing few more than 200 shots, my palmer's gauge will show a drop in PSI by about 100 PSI. Then my R/T stops working for more than one shot. Even if I open up the Palmer full-blast, and do the same with the R/T adjustment, it still wont sweet-spot, or even burst fire. After that, I get about the same number of shots, without R/T, until the Cyclone dies. Could it be the 1/16 lines are starving the R/T early? But would the the pressure still be dropping? My 98's R/T never stopped until about the last 50 shots (out of a thousand!). I mean, the gun is often called a gas hog, sure, but this is a little rediculous!

Re: Too few shots! I have an A5 with a similar setup. I don't run a reg or anything but I do have the R/T one mine and I can get 3/4 to a full case of paint from a 20oz. on a warm day.(I don't spray and pray, I pick my shots). Have you tried tearing your gun down and checking all your o-rings? Do you notice any hissing from anywhere on the marker or lines? If your getting a full fill in your tanks then the air has to be going somewhere. Last summer I had a bad o-ring that caused a small hiss when I threaded my tank in and lost alot of air without realizing it. I would check the o-rings first...also check your thread connections and make sure you don't have damaged threads.

Re: Too few shots! How cold is it where you play? I play up here in Montana even during the winter and I have never had a problem with freezing up in my A5. I do notice my velocity and such drop more but haven't froze up even when I've beared down on the R/T

Re: Too few shots! It is very cold here. Maybe thats what I'm overlooking. Honestly, I cant remember when I last used my gun with the stabilizer. When it was warm, or cold. I should maybe wait until its warm to try it again. I also havent noticed any hissing or leaks. But in my experiences, they were always more perceptible. I will check every connection for a slow leak. I'll even try a water check.
