Can't get new e-grip into programming mode

I've seen a post about this before but can't find it. Anyways, got my e-grip back from tippmann today and installed the battery. Went to change fire mode and it won't go into programming. Just in case I had a brain fart i printed out the w.a.s. board ref sheet and have been trying exactly how it says to do it. And yes this is a new battery (panasonic 9v). Tonight i will try an energizer but I really doubt this is the problem because the egrip does fire with this battery without any problems. <--- This is truelly how I feel about my egrip.

That is why I use an APE board. Are you holding the trigger as you turn on the board? What color is the light when you try to enter the progtamming mode?

Re: Can't get new e-grip into programming mode

I had the same frekin problem when I got mine back from tippmann. Hold the trigger then push the button for 1 sec till the light comes on It should be orange then green. HOLD the trigger till it goes red. Then you should be in program mode. Try that and see if that works....

Thanks for the help, had to hold that trigger for 5-6 seconds before it went red. Now to get it to quit breaking paint.(Just started after tippmann replaced e-grip)
