Uninstalling R/T trigger.

hello everyone.

I first would like to say i will soon become an owner of a tippmann a5. However i have a question:
This is my very first post and i've tried looking up how to uninstall a responce trigger on the A5. I'm currently going to be purchasing a used a5 with a responce trigger, but however, i'm wanting to get rid of the r/t.
I'd just like to know how hard is it to remove/install an r/t.
Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

Re: Uninstalling R/T trigger.

It's very easy to take it all off but you will need the original cyclone banjo.

I actually did that with Wrecks a while back. I never cared for the R/T, myself.

Re: Uninstalling R/T trigger.

things you need:
1. one of the set screws that holds that two halfs together
2. one of the nuts that the screw goes in to
3. (already mentioned) you need the original banjo fitting.

all you have to do is remove the grip (by taking out the two push-pins holding it on) now you have to unscrew all the screws holding the grip together. After that, remove the RT from the grip and screw it back together. Now, on the marker, you need to unscrew the silver screw on the left side of the back of the marker. Then, unscrew the fitting on the opposite of the last screw. Replace the last fitting and screw with item number 1 and 2. Unscrew the two port banjo, replace with the old one, and your finished.

!![edit]!!

oh, i forgot, you have to take the marker apart and remove the part that the the silver screw screwed into.

Re: Uninstalling R/T trigger.

well, the problem with the RT is that you cant set it to a certain ROF. It's either on or "off". and by "off" I mean adjusting it so that its so sensitive that it is very difficult to get more than a two shot burst every now and then.

Re: Uninstalling R/T trigger.

Why do you want to get rid of the RT anyway? Unless you go e-grip I dont see the point. It only helps with with semi auto and full auto fire. its also great for burst fire modes. So if you want just semi auto it will speed up uoir rate of fire.

I know... I think it was your's I saw in the trading section and somebody beat me to the punch. Personally I've shot A5's with Egrips and A5's with RT's... I prefer the RT over the E-Grip but as of now I lack the money to spend on something like that. SO im waiting for a lucky chance like you gave hehe.

Re: Uninstalling R/T trigger.

the reason why i'm getting rid of the r/t is because i have an idea for a trigger system myself.
