Replacement springs for sear spring?

Anybody know of any replacement springs that are available at a place that are local to people? I was cleaning my gun and changing out my trigger spring with a pen spring when it popped out and shot out across the room. I hope to find it but if I can't what can I use?

Will the old trigger spring work there?

Re: Replacement springs for sear spring?

I replaced my trigger spring with the pen spring, so I took that spring and put it into the tombstone latch....

I'm gonna see if that will work because the sear spring is the same as the tombstone latch spring.

Re: Replacement springs for sear spring?

Yeah, a pen spring is a little flimsey and weak for the sear...

Good idea about changing the tombstone latch though

Re: Replacement springs for sear spring?

Since were talking about the sear spring id like to bring up an issue i encountered when i used the factory sear spring. It seemed like the spring was to soft and would not have enough upward pressure to catch the rear bolt as it cycled with the end result being it going full auto. I had to to buy a harder spring from my hardware store and cut it to length. My issue is now excess wear on the sear and rear bolt. Any ideas??
