Re: A-5 Egrip help here

I've got a problem with my E-grip..

Basically my trigger switch keeps popping out of place. It clips into the little slot OK, but occasionally it comes out.

egrip.JPG

It means I have to take apart the grip to put it back. By the way I use a JCS dual trigger.

It often pops out when:

a) I use the safety button
b) I adjust the JCS trigger sensitivity screw
c) I fire the gun rapidly

What do you think about anchoring it in place? I was considering applying a tiny blob of superglue to that slot, then clipping the switch into the slot.. It doesn't need to rotate or move about the slot at all does it?

Also, how do you post large pictures? It doesn't matter what size the image I upload is, it's being displayed as a tiny picture..

Replied in your topic.

Go to imageshack.us

Choose the size you want.

It won't be much bigger than that because you are using my picture and that's the max size.
Upload, done.

In my case which has not given me any problems so far, the magnet is attached to the bottom part of the selenoid. Instead of being in that little slot for it. Could this cause a potential problem? So far it works great.

It has caused problems for me and another guy I helped. Guess it depends on the egrip and the settings.

Just wondering if I changed it would it help with rate of fire and just wondering how well the jcs double trigger works because im planning on buying that soon.

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

Yeah, I had problems using non egrip sears. If you call up tippmann, they will probably send you a free one. If the one you have is working, fine. Don't fix something that isn't busted.

The JCS trigger works well. I've owned a few.

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

O.K. This may sound like a dumb question but how do I know whether I have a WAS or APE board in my A5?

The serial number is:0386186.

The gun was bought new with E-Grip installed.

I've had the grip apart but can't find anything written on the board apart from "equalizer"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
