Re: A-5 Egrip help here

If you look closely and carefully it will say it on the board.

I've had the grip apart but can't find anything written on the board apart from "equalizer"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the APE board is green, and the WAS is blue.

Bogus Re: A-5 Egrip help here

IMPORTANT INFO FOR WAS BOARD BATTERY REPLACEMENT!!!

Having just completed my Beautiful "push button" mod I came upon a potential HUGE problem!

When pushing a new battery into the grip housing you run the very big risk of breaking wires off the board and/or solenoid or capacitor.

I would like to suggest that when replacing your battery that you remove the grip and separate the grip halves to reduce the possibility of trashing the grip internals.

This may not be convenient during a field strip but I believe it to be a major problem.

I'm looking into either a remote battery set-up or a plug in re-charger option.

BE WARNED!!!

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

That's a wicked mod. I've only just started researching E-grips. Where did you get the idea for that?

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

Just took it a stage further than someone's "cut-off" nail mod.

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

My egrip has no trigger contact for the trigger switch(the bent metal piece), or at least it has disappeared... I just opened it...

What do I do? I can't seem to find it
