Re: A-5 Egrip help here

Well I finally got the Egrip working nearly right. I used a dremel to clear some of the area where the trigger activation switch is housed in the grip and now it works like a charm. The only problem I have now is sometimes it doesn't want to STOP shooting, especially in anything other than semi-auto. I think I just need to bend the leaf spring some, but I will work on that this weekend.

Thank you everyone for all your help.

I think the debounce / dwell may have something to do with that.

That's what I was thinking, but I haven't taken the time to adjust it. I'm just happy that I got it to shoot again

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

I am having trouble getting my new trigger to work. I bought the ICP magnetic trigger and it has given me nothing but trouble. Now that I have put the stock trigger back in my e-grip has never been the same. Any helpful tips would be greatly apprieciated.

I had one of those. Took me about 5 hours to tweak. -_-

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

I had a problem with my e-grip with w.a.s. board running away in r/t mode that I just couldn't fix. Even though I got my a-5 second hand I went ahead and registered it with Tippmann and then sent an email to them on Monday(Oct.27) explaining my problem. On Wednesday(Oct. 29) they sent me an email stating that my new e-grip board was on it's way!! This is excellent customer service.

Grrr Re: A-5 Egrip help here

I just got a new A5 with the E-Grip pre installed and am having some trouble. The Grip itself is firing just fine, all modes work and when you pull the trigger you hear a very crisp click and if you pop the grip off you can see the sear moving. So, put it back on the gun and pull back the bolt, you can hear it lock. Pull the trigger and all you hear is a very faint click and the gun doesnt fire. I took the grip apart and it has the eGrip sear and put in a fresh battery, still having the same trouble. Any ideas?

Re: A-5 Egrip help here

Thank you SpudCrushr for your post. My son's 98 has a new e grip board and when i air it up it wants to roam free . I racked my brain (everything looked normal) untill i found your post. It has a stock sear and not an e-grip sear. I will replace this tomarrow.
