Plastic Adjustment Screws on e-grip.

Hi, I Recently bought a standard egrip from a friend of mine. The top plastic screw for adjusting the different modes is still fine. However the bottom screw that adjusts the ROF seems to be stripped out. Is there any way to get some kind of replacement, or fix it myself? Thanks a lot~Tim

Re: Plastic Adjustment Screws on e-grip.

There is a way to fix it yourself if you are VERY careful.

Take the jeweler's screwdriver that you use to change the ROF and heat the tip. (I am not sure how long or to what extent you must heat it). One it is hot, press it into the ROF screw to melt a slot into it.

I have not ever done this myself, nor has anybody I know personally done it. I read this method on the forum, and thought it might be of help.I cannot take the blame if anything happens to your grip.

Out of curiosity, where did you manage to acquire an original dial e-grip?

Lastly, welcome to the forums. Always remember Washer first, then o-ring, tombstone holds them in place.

Re: Plastic Adjustment Screws on e-grip.

I had the same issue with my old egrip. While at D-Day '06 the guys at the Tippmann trailer simply gave me a new board for my troubles. With that said, the ROF screw is most likely set to the highest rof. If that's the case then it shouldn't be a big problem, unless you were wanting to turn it down.
