| Re: On/Off ASA Usage They all basically work the same way. Basically it does two things. First unscrewing the knob takes the pressure off the pin valve and allows the tank to seal while still attached to the ASA (air source adapter or bottle adapter). Also it vents the other end (gun end) which is normally still pressurized after removing your tank on a non-equipped On/OFF gun. It allows for unpressurized removing of your tank (and seating of the tank) from the marker, which cuts down on the chances of blowing your tank o-ring. It also eliminates the odds of leaving your gun stored pressurized which can be tough on internals. I hope this helps/answers your questions.

| Re: On/Off ASA Usage THats the ASA I use on my A5. It bleeds out around the mounting screws. You can really feel it when you degas it using CO2. You will still go through tank Orings but not as quickly. Orings dry up, get ripped, and just get old after a while. I change my tank Orings out every few months or so. |
