R/T runaway firing

This morning I was assembling my gun after its new paintjob had cured. I polished the internals, installed the clicky pen, and replaced some of my worn-out o-rings. I hooked up my CO2 remote and did a few dry fires just to make sure everything worked out well.
A couple of times the gun needed to be re-cocked in order to continue firing. It sort-of stopped doing it, and so I decided to adjust the R/T again. When I adjusted it all the way down, instead of becoming harder to fire, it began to fire uncontrollably. When I would loosen the adjustment screw it would stop firing. I also noticed that the cyclone wasn’t turning.
Could I have something in my lines? What would be the primary cause of the runaway? Could the painting have damaged something? Any help would be awesome. I plan on tearing it back down in a day or so (work always gets in the way of fun), and I just wanted to know what to look for.
Thanks for the help.

Re: R/T runaway firing

Nahh i just think is pure coinsidence that it happened right after you painted the gun. Check the hammer and sear on the trigger. One of the is wore out and will need replacing.

It happened to my friend's A5 and he had to replace the sear, right after it was replaced the problem stopped.

The cyclone wont turn because all the air is going to the RT so is starving the cyclone. Since is a RUNAWAY problem and it goes to fast, it sucks all the air in one direction, RT. Once you fix this everything will be bacl to normal.

Re: R/T runaway firing

cool, I'll check that out first. i figured it was time to begin replacing things like the sear. i've been shooting it for almost 2 years, and I have yet to need to do any work to the internals. I figured it was something small like that.

Thanks for the info!
