WAS board SOLVED.

okay so i was messing around with my a-5 trying to fix the "run away firing problem" i tweaked a few things and tried it out, then went tp put the safety on realised i forgot to put it back in. so i re-installed it and shot a few more, and the problem came back, took out the safety and no more problem. so bottom line take out the safety pin and your problems should be solved. of course now therse the problem of not having a safety o nthe marker, so i just will have to turn it off between games.
(i jsut copied and pasted this from my opsgear account)

Re: WAS board SOLVED.

You have to have the safety on the marker at all times.

As for your run away firing problems, it could be your internals. Check the rear bolt and sear.

no i have checked everything it is the safety pin, the pin is tappered on one side i am going to mill it down and put it back in to see if it that is what is causign the problem, i think the trigger is just sticking back.

I'd mod the A-5 Trigger before I ever even considered modding the safety.

The safety pin locates the trigger assembly in the grip. Without it, the trigger just floats around in the space. Sounds to me like the problem is the micro-switch lever.
just my .02

Re: WAS board SOLVED.

You should raise the debounce on the bord, your trigger is bouncing. I had the same problem.
