WAS board problem

when i am shooting my A-5 it will uncock it self, and the WAS board will just continue to click. it seems to always happen when i am firing full auto. i think it is losing Co2 pressure but i am no expert. Once it happens the first time it seems to happen again and again, but that may be because it is so annoying that it seems as if it is happening constantly. i have my WAS board set on x-mode i believe is what it is called, it is where after the 3rd shot it is full auto. i have tried running remote and direct and that does not seem to make any difference.

Re: WAS board problem

pull the rod that goes from the solenoid to the sear and see if the ends have mushroomed. Check the sear as well.

Re: WAS board problem

i looked at both of those things and they were ok i even switched them out with a friends fully operational a5 and still no luck. my friend had one of the old e grips so swapped it out with my WAS board (i pulled out the WAS board out of my grip, but everything else was mine) and my gun worked perfectly. so it has to be the WAS board, but what i do not understand is the board still clicks its just the gun does not fire. sometimes the gun uncocks but now it mainly just fires like every third or fourth shot, another words the board clicks three times and the the gun fires on the fourth. i can not figure it out because if it was the board it should not even click. right?

could it be my solenoid is just not moving the pin far enough to actually move the sear.

i hope all that makes sense...... thanks for your help
