E-grip Confusing me

I already searched and found nothing like this. I just went from a R/T to E-grip, my setup is HPA, E-grip, Flatline, tippmann Coll. stock. So I got the e-grip on and put some air to it. cocked it then adjusted my stock all the way back(did this kinda fast and hard) but when I did my gun started shooting in full auto for like 3 seconds ? anyone have this happen ? what might it be?

Re: E-grip Confusing me

We're gonna need a little more information than this.

Can you recreate the problem consistently. Does 'knocking' the grip itself have the same affect? (Don't be gentle.)

Check the bottom lip of the rear bolt for wear.

Re: E-grip Confusing me

That's a fairly common problem with the WAS egrips. Just about everyone I play with has had similar problems with them. Not to say they're bad, but they do require some fine tuning before they become reliable. Have a look at the WAS tech support forum.
http://www.wickedairsportz.com/cgi-b.../ikonboard.cgi
Assuming that your board settings are correct, there are 2 fixes that the techs recommend over and over again. The first involves bending the switch lever slightly up to increase pressure on the switch and prevent bouncing. The second involves shortening the length of the lever. On some installations the lever actually contacts the left side of the grip housing and drags causing it to partially jam. I shortened mine by a 32nd of and inch or so with a sharp pair of cutters, and it made all the difference.
Hope this helps...
