well payment methods arent really important on this thread. i was just saying that radio shack no longer sells the magnets you mentioned for the magnet mod.

| Re: Trigger Mods Interesting, they must be phasing them out. I just got those at my local Radio Shack about 3 days before I made that post. Of course it may be a US -vs- Canada thing where Radio Shack Canada is no longer carrying them. They do still show them on their website: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102642

Re: Trigger Mods Im sure its useful for anybody that wants an easier more snappy trigger feel. If you look back on the post, he actually preferred the original spring over the magnets to keep the RT in its sweet spot. I assume if you have the egrip or nothing at all, that this mod would be perfectly fine as well, if not better suited for your applications rather than the RT. It would make semi auto firing a lot easier and potentially faster since magnets snap apart from eachother, rather than building spring tension. To keep the RT in its sweet spot I think it would be easier with the spring, since the resistance builds as the trigger is pulled back, making it easier to shoot rapidly since the trigger has a smaller window where the piston will push it back out effectively.

You're welcome, but don't thank me, thank everyone on this forum, past and present. I didn't know any of this stuff when I first joined up, instead I paid attention, took notes, did lots of experimentation and eventually summed up everyones work into a single thread. On behalf of all the members of the A5OG (at least those who trust me enough to let me speak for them...), you're welcome! By the way, welcome to the forum! You're already a promising good member, your first post is to say thank you instead of asking before looking around. Be sure to check out the forum rules and don't be afraid to use the search feature either!

Re: Trigger Mods It wasn't exactly my first post but very close. My first post, and i would put a link here if i was that savy, was about the super RT mod and how i can't get it to work. I looked very much on here to see if anyone else had the same problem i did but had no luck. I used the search and everything, not much luck on finding my solution. I have read the forum rules but i don't plan on acting like a jackass to get kicked off. If you, psyopper, are interested in my first post it's in the "How to.....Super RT mod", just looking for a little help on the subject. Thanks

Re: Trigger Mods I've done the "q-tip" mod and wanted to add a little feedback to it. It was working very good but as anyone that has done it you know that the q-tip gets squashed down and you loose your sweet spot a little. I'm working on filing down a sear pin to replicate this. Takes some more time to get it right but once it's at the right spot you don't have to worry about replacing it like a q-tip. I used a hack saw to cut a little off of the pin and now i'm going to file it down till it's just right, you could also use a bench grinder but i didn't want to take too much off at a time. Hopes this helps some people Any experts that could help me with the super rt mod i'd appriciate it. I can't get it to work for nothing.

Re: Trigger Mods Psyopper, thank you (and anyone else who contributed) for the info. I just did both straw mods, and it's MUCH better. It's nice to have consistent full auto, but more importantly I have better control now. I know when it'll fire, when it won't, and can control my burst length. This was a great first mod. Thanks a5og.
